For client feedback
Send a client a link when you share a draft, a design or a finished job. They tell you what they think out loud, in their own time, and the video comes straight to you.
Have a go with your own camera in the demo. Nothing is uploaded. Sign-up opens soon.

The usual trouble
“It's fine” can mean three different things in an email. Hearing someone say it tells you which.
Finding a time you can both do can take longer than the feedback itself.
A comment in one email, an afterthought in a message, a note passed on by a colleague. Nobody is sure which version is final.
How it works
Say what you'd like their view on and set a time limit. The more specific the question, the more useful the answer.
Put it in the same email as the draft. They open it on a phone or computer and talk it through, with nothing to install and no account to create.
We email you when their video arrives. Watch it in your dashboard as many times as you need, and download it for your project file.
What to ask
Ask about one piece of work at a time, and ask something that can't be answered with “looks good”.
This is what goes into a link: a title, and what you'd like them to say. Change the words to sound like you.
Settings
You make these choices for each link. Here is where we'd start.
On their side
A video of someone's face and voice is about as personal as data gets, so we're careful with it at every step.
Good to know
ClipStation records their camera and microphone. It doesn't record their screen, so ask them to hold up or point at whatever they're talking about.
There are no comments or replies inside ClipStation. Answer them by email, or however the two of you normally talk.
Download the video for your project file. Nothing is added to it.
Videos are deleted automatically, after 30 days on Starter and 90 on Pro, and your client is told that before they record. Download any you want to keep, and tell them if you do.
Which plan
5 videos a month and one active link at a time, which works when you ask one client at a time.
25 videos a month and 5 active links, so several clients can each have a link open at once.
You can change plan or cancel at any time. See everything each plan includes
Questions
No. The link opens in the browser on their phone or computer. They don't need an app or an account.
No. ClipStation records the camera and microphone. To show something, they can hold it up or point the camera at it.
Yes, if the link allows it. Set the maximum to 1 for a single reply, or higher if you'd like feedback in stages.
Only you. It's stored privately and never appears anywhere public. Each time you play it, we make a private link that stops working after a few minutes.
You set the limit for each link, from 30 seconds up to 90 seconds on Starter and 3 minutes on Pro. The recorder counts down and stops by itself when the time is up.
30 days on Starter and 90 on Pro, counted from when each video arrives. You can delete any of them sooner, and download any you want to keep.
No. ClipStation gets their video to you. Reply by email, or however you normally talk.
Also used for
The demo takes you through it with your own camera: writing the request, recording as your client would, and watching the video arrive. Nothing is uploaded and you don't need an account.
We use Google Analytics cookies to see how people find and use this site, so we can improve it. Nothing about the videos people record is shared. More detail.
