How it works

You send a link. They do the rest.

  1. A café owner in an apron typing on a laptop behind the counter
    01

    Create a link

Tell us what you'd like people to talk about and how long they get. You'll have a link to send however you like: by email, by text or in a message.

  2. A smiling woman on a sofa waving at the phone she is recording on
    02

    They record in their browser

They open the link on their phone or computer and press record. They can watch it back and try again as often as they like. Nothing is sent until they're happy with it.

  3. A man smiling at something on his laptop screen
    03

    It arrives in your dashboard

We email you as soon as a video comes in. Watch it, download it or delete it, whenever suits you.

It's easier to try than to read about.

What people use it for

For whenever you'd love a quick video from someone

Asking is the easy part. Getting the video off their phone and over to you is where it usually goes wrong, so ClipStation takes care of that.

Customer testimonials

Ask a happy customer for a few words while the visit is still fresh. They don't have to book a call or work out how to send you a file.

Candidate introductions

Ask applicants to introduce themselves in a minute or so, and you'll have met them a little before the first interview.

What to ask, and how to set it up

Two people talking across studio microphones

Podcast and event guests

Gather speaker intros, questions from the audience, or a message from someone who can't be there on the day.

What to ask, and how to set it up

A woman at a desk recording herself with a laptop and a small camera

Course and training submissions

Let learners answer out loud or show you how they'd do it, within a time limit you choose.

What to ask, and how to set it up

A man with headphones round his neck talking to his laptop

Team updates

Hear from people in different places and time zones without putting another meeting in the diary.

What to ask, and how to set it up

Two people in a shop looking at a laptop together

Client feedback

Let a client talk you through what they think while they're looking at it. It's often clearer than a written note.

Privacy

Built to be careful with people's faces

A video of someone's face and voice is about as personal as data gets, so we've been careful with it at every step.

  • Nothing is sent until they say soThey always watch their video back first, and can try again as often as they like.
  • They agree before the camera turns onWe tell them who will get the video and how long it's kept, and ask them to agree, before anything is switched on.
  • Only you can watchVideos are stored privately and never appear anywhere public. Each time you play one, we make a private link that stops working after a few minutes.
  • Nothing is kept for everVideos are deleted automatically: after 30 days on the Starter plan, and longer on larger ones. You can delete any of them sooner.

We're opening the doors soon
